Our client, a fast growing Manufacturing company has an immediate opening for an Operations Assistant to support the Vice President in the day to day operations of the production department as well as vendor management support as needed.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for the preparation of Packing Lists, AIA billing forms, Bills of Material with cost of goods breakdown
  • Create Bills of Labor, Project “needs” sheet for non-stocking and special order items
  • Prepare and update reports
  • Develop new analysis of existing data to assist in making better decisions moving forward
  • Work with VP to create, develop and maintain system documentation and procedures
  • Perform ad hoc tasks on an as needed basis
  • Send RFQ’s for LTL and truckload shipments
  • Manage UPS shipments
  • Work with vendors as directed
  • Place small vendor PO’s

Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following:

  • Three years experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, decision making, and problem-solving skills
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously on an as needed basis

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire position

Pay Rate: $15-$17 / Hr

Hours of Availability: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Job Type: Full-time
