Inventory Coordinator

Our manufacturing client is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to compile records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Plan and execute formal physical inventory count by working with senior management to perform the site physical inventory
  • Ensure daily inventory control of all inventory
  • Perform monthly tank reconciliation, quarterly outside warehouse and printer supplies cycle counts
  • Complete inventory adjustments and transfers by reporting adjustments to management according to established policies and procedures
  • Manage inventory staff to coordinate responsibilities such as daily cycle counts, create, maintain and distribute inventory reports to stakeholders
  • Manage the inventory department personnel, their duties and responsibilities
  • Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies by interacting with team members, accounting and other departments
  • Monitor slow moving inventory and rework. Coordinate with departmental manager on dispositions of slow moving inventory and rework
  • Record and track overages, shortages, damages, returns and shipping functions to ensure accurate records and inventory levels
  • Serves as back-up to Inventory Coordinator and performs Inventory Coordinator duties as needed
  • Maintain high level of quality, customer service and regulatory compliance's
  • Promote and ensure a safe work environment by advocating safety training, accident preparedness and compliance with the Company, OSHA and other standards and regulations
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with peers, team and senior management in order to communicate effectively and strategically implement solutions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 Ideal Candidate Will Posses The Following: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school, five years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with changing concrete variables with limited supervision
  • Prior SAP and MRP experience
  • Must have at least 3 years of Inventory Control experience
  • 2 years of prior Supervisory/Management experience

Job Type : Temp to Hire, Full Time

Hours of Availability: Monday - Friday, 8A - 4:30P
